Banned Indian pace bowler cricketer S. Sreesanth will tie the nuptial knot on December 12 with a girl from a royal family in Rajasthan at the famous Sri Krishna temple at Guruvayoor.
The disgraced pacer will be marrying Nayan next month at the Guruvayoor Sri Krishna temple, Sreesanth's mother Savithri Devi said on Monday.
"He will be marrying Nayan on December 12," she said.
The couple has been dating each other for the past few years and Nayan stood by Sreesanth when the pacer was jailed following his alleged involvement in the spot-fixing scandal which took place during the sixth edition of the Indian Premier League.
Sreesanth, who is currently out on bail, was banned from all forms of cricket by the BCCI in September after a committee formed by the board found the Kerala pacer involved in spot-fixing.
Sreesanth was a member of the Rajasthan Royals when he was arrested on May 16 along with two of his teammates.
He was also charged under the MCOCA (Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act) and the case has now been listed for December 18 hearing.
