Actress Poorna, who shot to fame with movie “Avnu” is all set to share screen space in a special song opposite Mahesh Babu in his upcoming movie with filmmaker Koratala Siva. The project is tentatively titled as “Srimanthudu”. However, an official announcement is still awaited.
It is learnt that the filmmakers were in search of an actress, who is proficient in classical dance. Actress Poorna has been roped in after considering many names for the peppy number as she is a trained Kathak dancer. According to latest reports, a special set is being erected in the city for the shooting of this special song.
Starlet Shruti Haasan is playing lead role opposite Mahesh Babu in the movie as his love interest. The movie also features Rajendra Prasad, Jagapathi Babu, Brahmanandam and Sampath Raj in prominent roles. Music directorDevi Sri Prasad is composing tunes to this action-romantic entertainer.
