Supertar Mahesh is currently busy shooting for his upcoming flick “Srimanthudu” directed by Koratala Siva. Y Naveen,Y Ravi Shankar and CV Mohan are producing this movie under Mythri Movie Makers banner. Shruthi Haasan is paired opposite Mahesh Babu for the first time. Jagapathi Babu essays the role of the father of Mahesh Babu while Sukanya plays the role of mother. Rajendra Prasad,Sampath Raj and Brahmanandam will appear in supporting key roles. Music is scored by Devi Sri Prasad.The unit is currently shooting in Malaysia . According to the latest update,the current schedule has been extended up to May 2nd. Initially,the schedule was supposed to end today,as some important scenes are yet to be shot . So the unit has decided to stay back. The shooting is nearing the completion soon. This big budget movie is slated to release on July 17th,2015
