Google Could Decide On ‘Android N’ Naming Through An Online Poll

http://andhrarockz.blogspot.in/
With Android N already confirmed by a couple of engineers from the Pixel C team on Reddit, speculation has already begun as to what flavored dessert the 'N' would stand for next year.

Google CEO Sundar Pichai has now made it easier for us to understand how the name might be chosen and it's all good news for the fans. According to a PTI report, the company might leave it up to the users to pick a name through an elaborate online poll. Pichai gave out this information while speaking to students at the Shri Ram College of Commerce.

He pitched this as a possibility and not a certainty, so fans have no reasons to be overly optimistic about this at the moment. Pichai also responded to a couple of witty questions from the students in the affirmative.

One of the students asked him why the company didn't name a version of Android after an Indian dessert. To this, Pichai responded by saying "When I meet my Mom, I will ask for suggestions." 'Neyyappam' and 'Nankhatai' were some of the popular suggestions that came from the students.

Clearly, the interaction was very fruitful with the students and Pichai encouraged independent thought and mentioned that the education system in India should value creativity and not disregard someone for being different.
