Madhu Shalini reveals secret of BruceLee

The recently released movie “BruceLee” based on the story of brother and sister’s relation loaded with sentiments, action and entertainment. Actor Ram Charan played the role of brother whereas Kriti Kharbanda appeared in the role of sister. The movie is directed by Srinu Vaitla and released on 16th Oct.  After the release of movie actress Madhu Shalini revealed the secret of BruceLee  on social networking sites.   Madhu Shalini has lent her voice for the character of Kriti in movie. She tweeted,”  My first attempt at dubbing. Dubbed for @kriti_official #BruceLeeTheFigher". As a result of it Kriti replied, "u were amazing madhu! Thank u so so much".  Currently Madhu Shalini is waiting for the release of her forthcoming movie “Cheekati Raajyam” starring Kamal Hassan and Trisha, directed by Rajesh M Selva and scheduled to hit the theaters on 12th November 2015.

'Yevadu' Posters Lands Ram Charan in Legal Mess

Actor Ram Charan Teja, son of actor-turned-politician Chiranjeevi, and nine others associated with the recently released Telugu film "Yevadu" have been booked for allegedly promoting obscenity in the film's posters here.

K Nagendra Prasad, a businessman, in his complaint stated that the posters of "Yevadu" were obscene and, therefore, a case has been filed against Ram Charan and other key members, including director Vamsi Paidipally and producer Dil Raju.

He filed the complaint Wednesday.

Police have registered a case under the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act, 1986.

The film's director, however, called the charges "baseless".

"We have no clue which poster he is referring to. If he is talking about the one featuring Amy Jackson in a two-piece bikini with Charan, it was from a song. There was absolutely no obscenity in it. These are just baseless allegations," Vamsi told IANS.

"We will handle this legally," he added.

"Yevadu", which released Jan 12, has a beach song featuring Amy in a bikini opposite Ram Charan.

The film also features Allu Arjun, Kajal Agarwal, Shruti Haasan and Brahmanadam in important roles.

Ram Charan suffering from depression!

Our sources close to Ram Charan tells us that the actor is suffering from acute depression. The actor is reportedly very depressed about the performance of his Zanjeer/Thoofan. More than all that the actor was reportedly hurt with the scathing attack launched by Bollywood reviewers on him and his acting abilities.

Even though Ram Charan’s movies fail in Telugu, the reviewers here go soft on him due to his back ground. But having no obligations with Charan or his family, Hindi reviewers went a bit more on him. The actor is currently recuperating from a sinus related surgery. His Yevadu movie is complete and ready to release. He is yet to begin his next movie after Yevadu and Zanjeer/Thoofan.

Mega Power Star Ram Charan who never expected such kind of negative campaign in Bollywood after his debut with Zanjeer seems to be going for a kill.

Top filmmaker Karan Johar confirmed that he had talks with Ram Charan to remake Agnipath which was rejected outright by the star. Karan says "I was talking to Charan about remaking Agneepath and he pointed out that it had been overdone too. So, right now I'm back on looking out for new ideas and stories. Yes, I've plans to move towards regional films and specially Telugu."

Ram Charan contrary to analysts advices is keen to go for a kill in Bollywood, thus settle one or two scores with his critics. Cherry is also finalising coupe of projects in Tollywood too with Yevadu ready for release.

Latest update on Charan’s road fighting case

The summer of 2013 will be unforgettable for Ram Charan because on May 5th he was involved in a roadside fight that had his bodyguards bashing up two software professionals. The incident became a national news and from then on, many had criticized for his brash behavior and especially from the IT industry.

But here is the latest update. It is heard that the HRC has struck off  a petition by a lawyer demanding non-bailable cases need to be filed on Charan and

Chiranjeevi. The HRC has struck the petition on the grounds that the software professionals didn’t file a case and neither did Charan.

When both sides are silent there is no evidence on which the petition had to be accepted so the case is reportedly struck off. Due to this, Charan can definitely breathe a sigh of relief because the issue was pestering him strongly. Let us hope even the IT industry professionals also let it go and move forward.

Ram Charan escaped arrest

Did Ram Charan escaped from getting arrest and counting the bars of jail? Legal experts confirm the same. It is known that Ram Charan assaulted two software engineers sometime back. 

Though the two after great pressure from mega family withdrew their complaints from Punjagutta police station, State Human Rights Commission took up the matter sumoto. It asked for report from the police.

Even police in their report informed HRC that Ram Charan indeed attacked the two engineers but FIR was not registered as complaint was not filed. Though lawyer Salim filed a case with SHRC, the two engineers didnot appear infront of the commission. 

SHRC felt without enquiry, it cannot acquit or convit anyone. Thus SHRC headed by Kakumanu Peda Perireddy,Miriyala Ramarao struck off the case which enabled Ram Charan escape from getting arrested.

Venky said no to Ram Charan?

After putting his  efforts for the film ‘Zanjeer’ in Hindi and ‘Thoofan’ in Telugu Ram Charan is back and he will be seen in the new film ‘Yevadu’. Mega Power Star Ram Charan's Bollywood debut film Zanjeer's debacle came as a shock to mega fans. They expected a lot from him and were expecting atleast a decent debut. But much to their shock after positve premier reviews,analysts blasted the film. More than the film, the way they ripped apart Ram Charan's performance dejected fans leaving them shellshocked.

Story

Vijay Khanna (Ram Charan Teja) is aggressive and honest police officer gets constantly transferred due to nervy ways of amending the hoodlums. In his 5 years of service Vijay gets 22 transfers record. He takes the charge in Mumbai and starts investigating a murder mystery of Collector. In this process of solving the murder case he meets up with Mala (Priyanka Chopra) main witness in murder case and Sherkhan (Srihari) an illegal dealer. As Mala refuses to help Vijay in this case Vijay assures her safety and shelter Mala. Impressed with Mala, Vijay unknowingly falls in love with her. As things going in-between Teja and Vijay, Vijay joins his hands with Sherkhan for his honesty. Rest of the film falls how Vijay take care of Oil Mafia and stop Rudhra Prathap Teja (Prakash Raj) for illegal business.

 StarPerformances

After watching epic performance of Superstar Amitabh Bachchan in Zanjeer, it hard it reimagine some other doing the same job. But must say Ram Charan has brought his acting experience and given an okay job. Actor should have worked on his wooden expressions in important scenes. Most of the other characters hardly hold any potential. Mahie Gill seems to exist for no reason. Priyanka Chopra is a NRI and acts so silly that she flirts explicitly with ACP Vijay in front of his subordinates. Prakash Raj continued his conventional villain-ism with Teja’s character. Tanikella Bharini is good in his role. Srihari failed to reach the mark of veteran Pran’s character in Zanjeer. It’s a director’s fault as he allots little screen space. Some characters take the screen for so long while some others don't even get the privilege of expressing their true nature and intentions.

Direction, Music & Technical Aspects

Apoorva Lakhia remaking Zanjeer keeping its essence was not an easy job, it was even tough job to select cast to impress an immortal performances. The story by Salim Javed appears to be very niggling. But thrilling narration could have made this story interesting is missing in this film. Apoorva has failed to engage audience, as there are many loop holes that left blank. Like, Priyanka was attacked only once even though she was the main witness for murder and she roams freely, Director failed to Justify Tanikella Bharini’s character ends it suddenly, Sherkhan never gets attacked even though he rejects Prakash Raj’s offer. A powerful characterization for main leads was missing in this film.

Analysis

There could be any number of reasons for sweeping this film off, and the slow paced manner in which the story unfolds, does play a major discouragement. Songs with the manner in which they have been integrated into the tale, simply should not be there. The Telugu lyrics don’t sync well with the Hindi tunes. There is the script too that is a depressant, and it has very few heart pumping moments. Especially the meow scenes between Mahie and Prakash Raj are horrible. The film is relatively short and has a running time of just more than two hours, and a further twenty minutes could easily be trimmed out, that could have made it much crisper. Director should have taken extra care on music of this film; even background score of the film is very loud. Cinematography by Gururaj R. Jois is middling. His action action episode shots are well framed. Vijay blasting a colony of Teja’s followers with Car reminds us of Badboys chase sequence. Production values of Mahi’s Entertainment, Flying Turtle are grand. On the whole, a sequence of garbled – doltishly funny - ho-hum - unnecessary scenes make Thoofan a movie you can blithely miss, certainly a harsh remark. But then, the movie doesn't show you any mercy.

Bottom Line : Thoo”Fan” only relief for fans!
