Poorna’s special dance for Mahesh Babu

 Actress Poorna, who shot to fame with movie “Avnu” is all set to share screen space in a special song opposite Mahesh Babu in his upcoming movie with filmmaker Koratala Siva. The project is tentatively titled as “Srimanthudu”. However, an official announcement is still awaited.

It is learnt that the filmmakers were in search of an actress, who is proficient in classical dance. Actress Poorna has been roped in after considering many names for the peppy number as she is a trained Kathak dancer. According to latest reports, a special set is being erected in the city for the shooting of this special song.

Starlet Shruti Haasan is playing lead role opposite Mahesh Babu in the movie as his love interest. The movie also features Rajendra Prasad, Jagapathi Babu, Brahmanandam and Sampath Raj in prominent roles. Music directorDevi Sri Prasad is composing tunes to this action-romantic entertainer.

Mahesh New Movie Gets a Title

Superstar Mahesh has started shooting for his latest movie after two disasters 1-Nenokkadine and Aagadu this year. The movie has been directed by Koratala Siva who helmed blockbuster Mirchi in the past. As per the latest update the movie has been titled as Srimanthudu. The interesting news is that the makers have registered the title with the Film Chamber.

Sruthi Haasan is playing the female lead in the movie who has shaked leg with Mahesh for an item number in Aagadu. Rajendra Prasad, Jagapathi Babu and Sampath Raj will be seen in other prominent roles in the film. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music for Srimanthudu. The movie has been produced by Naveen Erneni, Yalamanchali Ravishankar and CV Mohan on Mythri Movie Makers banner. Srimanthudu has been slated for release on May 1^st 2015.
