When piracy DVDs of Pawan Kalyan's Attarintiki Daaredi appeared online, entire industry was shellshocked. Everyone supported the filmmakers calling for stringent action on those involved in the entire incident.
However now some sources say the entire episode is scripted by the producer to advance the release of the film. When TV9 telecasted the pirated versions played by police, viewers got a chance to watch new scenes from the film.
However police in Pedana, Krishna Dist say there was nothing in the DVDs except for stickers of the film on the VCD.Some say there is another reason on piracy stunt. Since NTR's Ramayya Vastavayya is releasing on Oct 10th, producer BVSN.Prasad felt that he could face theater problems and so to advace the film's release on some pretext, he scripted the entire piracy drama.
