Superstar Mahesh Babu is presently doing Brahmotsavam in the direction of Srikanth Addala.  With thi all the eyes are on Mahesh Babu’s future project.  AR Murugadoss project with Mahesh is the most discussed topic among the audience.  It is known that the movie is a Telugu-Tamil bilingual project. It was already in the news that Shruthi Hasan is going to be the female lead in this movie.

According to the fresh buzz from the film circles, Murugadoss has also approached Bollywood heroine Alia Bhatt for this film.  It is still unclear whether she has been approached for heroine role in place of Shruti or the second heroine role.  It is known that Mahesh acted with several Bollywood heroines in the past.  Apart from the casting, Harris Jayraj will music director of this movie.

Creative filmmaker AR Murugadoss and superstar Mahesh Babu are teaming up for a movie. It is heard that Mahesh Babu will join the sets after the completion of his ongoing project ‘Brahmotsavam’.

The latest update is that this movie will be made on a whopping budget of Rs 100 Crore. It is heard that the makers of this movie are not hesitating to invest amount since Mahesh Babu’s Srimanthudu was a blockbuster.

RB Chowdary and NV Prasad are jointly producing this Tamil-Telugu bilingual. The pre production work of this movie is going on at a rapid speed.

JUST IN: AR MURUGADOSS TO DIRECT?

 Director AR Murugadoss can be termed one among the few game changers in the Indian film industry. He has given some memorable blockbusters for top superstars in Tamil, Telugu and also in Hindi.

Films like Ghajini (both Tamil and Hindi), Thuppakki, Kaththi, Dheena, Ramana and Stalin have all been benchmark films for the respective stars who featured in those films.

The maverick director is currently working on a female centric action film Akira, starring Sonakshi Sinha in the lead. Now that this film is in its final stages of production, the spotlight falls on his next film.

There are speculations doing rounds that Vijay would work with ARM next, but the latest we hear is that the most wanted director might possibly team up with Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu for a Tamil-Telugu bilingual film. Apparently one of the associates of RB Choudary’s Super Good Films, Tirupati Prasad is expected to fund this venture.

It’s romance vs comedy tomorrow

As the year comes close to an end for Tollywood slowly, the bleak time span will see some interesting movies releasing till December. Slated for the opening tomorrow are two such films at Box Office – Venkatadri Express (Comedy) and Raja Rani (Romance)

The Sundeep Kishan Rakul Preet starrer Venkatadri Express is an out an out comedy with entertaining element to look forward to. Sundeep, who is slowly rising to better roles in films will be seen playing an interesting young man with a motive in the film.  Directed by Merlapaka Gandhi, the project boasts of editing by the likes of Gautham Raju and editing by Chota K Naidu. It remains to be seen if Venkatadri Express manages to create an impact with audience.

Releasing parallel is Raja Rani, a dubbed version of Tamil blockbuster. The movie which has already become a Kollywood superhit is an interesting story of two individuals who get caught up with each other due to circumstances. Produced by celebrated director A R Murugadoss, the film has Arya and Nayanthara playing the leading roles, whose acting proved remarkably well at Box Office in Tamil film industry. The film has capability to strike it off with the audience in Telugu as it has all the known stars and actors with a connecting story line.  Raja Rani is one of the few films to be distributed by Hollywood house, Fox Star Studios.
