After Mahesh, it’s Puri for voice over

Prince Mahesh Babu and director Puri Jagannadh are good friends in the industry and their wavelengths worked well at box office and created films like Pokiri & Businessman. But lately Puri is going through a rough phase with series of flops under his belt. If we look in to what is common between Mahesh and Puri does occasionally it’s doing voice overs for other films. Mahesh takes first place for introducing a hero character in a movie and now Puri is going to take that place in directors.
Puri has already given voice-over in films like Solo, Disco and now he is going to intro hero Srikanth in his upcoming film Mondodu. Many say there are uncountable conflicts and cold wars between industry people but things like Mahesh giving voice over to Pawan, Charan attending NTR’s film openings, other heroes attending audio launches of another hero shows a healthy attitude among movie fraternity.

Mahesh-Puri eyeing ‘Pokiri’ or ‘Businessman’

It can be said that in the careers of Mahesh Babu and Puri Jagannadh, the film ‘Pokiri’ will always remain a memorable one. Mahesh’s stardom became strong after giving a blockbuster and Puri became a star director after that. Later, they also got one more hit with ‘Businessman’. And now there are reports that both Mahesh and Puri are planning to join hands once again.

It is heard that the duo is likely to team up for a new film and they are eyeing the chances of going in for a sequel. Whether it is going to be for ‘Pokiri’ or ‘Businessman’ is not sure. According to reports, this new one will be starting during the early part of 2014. Mahesh is now busy with ‘1-Nenokkadine’.

Puri is preparing to start his new film ‘Heart Attack’ and this is targeted for completion by this year end. Since Puri doesn’t waste much time and finishes his films quickly this could start by January or February and end by May. But suspense still remains on whether it is really going to be a sequel or a fresh script.

Happy Birthday Superstar Mahesh

Today is the Birthday of Superstar Mahesh Babu. Born as Ghattamaneni Mahesh Babu on August 9th in 1975 to Superstar Krishna and Indira, Mahesh spent most of his childhood inChennai, under the care of his grandmother.

After completing his degree in commerce from Loyola College Chennai, Mahesh made his debut as a Hero in 1999 with ‘Rajakumarudu’. Long before that, he acted in many of Krishna’s movies like ‘Gudachari 117′, ‘Koduku diddina Kapuram’, ‘Balachandrudu’ etc.

After a string of films like ‘Yuvaraju’ and ‘Vamsi’, Mahesh tasted success with ‘Murari’ in 2001. Stardom came with Gunasekhar’s ‘Okkadu’ in 2003 and Mahesh grew from strength to strength. After films like ‘Pokiri’, ‘Dookudu’ and ‘Businessman’, Mahesh Babu cemented his place as one of the top heroes of South India. He tested new waters with the multi-starrer film ‘Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’.

Mahesh Babu is consistently rated as one of the best actors in Telugu Cinema and he is widely acknowledged as one of the most handsome men in India.
