South Indian film industry is getting ready to pay its tribute to 100years of Indian cinema by celebrating in Chennai for four days in a grand manner. Film personalities from all south Indian languages, Telugu,Tamil,Malayalam and Kannada will take part in the celebrations.
TN Governor Rosaiah and Chief Minister Jayalalitha kick start the celebrations on 21st, today evening at 4 PM at Nehru Indore stadium, Chennai, TN. Today 50 stalwarts from Tamil cinema will be felicitated.Sandalwood will celebrate the event Tomorrow 22nd morning while evening will see Tollywood taking stage to pay its tributes to Indian cinema. 23rd Oct will be taken over by Mollywood film fraternity.
On 24th during the closing ceremony Pranab Mukherjee will felicitate 28 legends 7 each from Telugu,Tamil,Kannada and Malayalam. AP CM Kiran Kumar Reddy and PCC Chief Botsa will also grace the occasion.

Today is the Birthday of Superstar Mahesh Babu. Born as Ghattamaneni Mahesh Babu on August 9th in 1975 to Superstar Krishna and Indira, Mahesh spent most of his childhood inChennai, under the care of his grandmother.
After completing his degree in commerce from Loyola College Chennai, Mahesh made his debut as a Hero in 1999 with ‘Rajakumarudu’. Long before that, he acted in many of Krishna’s movies like ‘Gudachari 117′, ‘Koduku diddina Kapuram’, ‘Balachandrudu’ etc.
After a string of films like ‘Yuvaraju’ and ‘Vamsi’, Mahesh tasted success with ‘Murari’ in 2001. Stardom came with Gunasekhar’s ‘Okkadu’ in 2003 and Mahesh grew from strength to strength. After films like ‘Pokiri’, ‘Dookudu’ and ‘Businessman’, Mahesh Babu cemented his place as one of the top heroes of South India. He tested new waters with the multi-starrer film ‘Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’.
Mahesh Babu is consistently rated as one of the best actors in Telugu Cinema and he is widely acknowledged as one of the most handsome men in India.
