Mahesh asked me to help him : Nagarjuna

Nagarjuna seems to be in seventh heaven with the success of 'Manam'. He thanked everyone who is behind the success of the film.

He said that Mahesh Babu called him and said he can't understand how they judged the story. Nagarjuna said " Mahesh Babu called me after watching 'Manam'. He congratulated us for the success and said he can't understand how we judged such a complicated story. When I said that the credit goes to Vikram for narrating the story such wonderfully, he said that he too was hearing a story from Vikram and asked me to help him in judging it. I said I will sure help him(laughs)".

It will be really a happy news for Mahesh Babu fans if Vikram impresses Mahesh with the story.

Akhil to make a cameo in Manam?

Manam, starring ANR, Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya, has a new entrant from the Akkineni, if the latest buzz is anything to go by. Rumours are abuzz that Nagarjuna’s younger son, AkhilAkkhineni is going to make a cameo in the film. Before the film’s principal shooting began, when Nagarjuna was asked if Akhil was going to make a special appearance in the film, he vehemently denied the rumours. However, it looks like there was a change in the original plan.

Now, it might be a little too far-fetched to deduce that Akhil is going to make a cameo in Manam based on a tweet, but this is what Samantha said, “Today was a very special day on the sets of #Manam…u ll have to wait and watch….(Sic).” No wonder, fans of Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya are convinced that she is hinting at Akhil’s presence, although the actress did not reveal any details.

Manam also stars Shriya Saran and Samantha in lead roles. Vikram Kumar is directing the film and Nagarjuna is producing the film under Annapurna Studios banner. P S Vinod is the cinematographer and Anup Rubens is scoring the music. The film will hit the screens early next year.

Nagarjuna accepts but Naga chaitanya rejected it

This is something different for general, many feel that top heroes select stories for their sons and they don’t have any option but to accept his father’s selection as he is experienced. Naga chaitanya after hearing to script rejected it and said he was not happy with the story, Sudhir took that script directly to Nagaruna and narrated him the whole plot, Nagarjuna accepts his flick and also he says that story is good. So now Nagarjuna will work in a story written for his son.

Bhai’ audio launch on ANR’s birthday?

Legendary actor Akkineni Nageshwara Rao turns 90 on September 20th. On this special birthday, his son Nagarjuna is planning to launch his current film Bhai’s music. Though there is no official confirmation, we have learnt that Nag is in favour of launching the audio on September coinciding with his dad’s birthday.
Last song of Bhai is being filmed now in Hyderabad. In two days, the film will entirely be wrapped up. So, Nagarjuna is contemplating of releasing the movie on October 4th.

Bhai first look on Friday

The first look of ‘King’ Akkineni Nagarjuna’s ‘Bhai’ will be unveiled on Friday, August 9th. The news was revealed by the director of the film, Veerabhadram, today. ‘Bhai’ is expected to hit the screens sometime in September and Nagarjuna will be seen in a full length mass entertainer after quite a long time.

Richa Gangopadhyay is the heroine in this movie. Devi Sri Prasad has composed the music and Sameer Reddy is the cinematographer. Nagarjuna is producing the movie on Annapurna Studios banner.

‘Bhai’ is expected to have a good dose of comedy, action and sister sentiment. Zara Shah, who appeared in the film ‘Life is Beautiful’, will be seen as Nagarjuna’s sister in this movie.

ANR and Nag to join Manam shoot this week

Legendary Telugu actor Dr. Akkineni Nageswara Rao, his son Akkineni Nagarjuna and his grandson Naga Chaitanya will be seen together in the film ‘Manam’. Three generations of Akkinenis are acting together for the first time in this movie and shooting is going on at a brisk pace. So far, scenes involving Naga Chaitanya and Samantha have been shot. Now ANR and Nagarjuna will join the shoot from the 8th of this month.

Vikram Kumar is directing this movie. Shriya will pair up with Nagarjuna for this unique family entertainer. Nagarjuna is producing this movie in association with Reliance Entertainments.
