South celebrating 100 years of Indian Cinema!

South Indian film industry is getting ready to pay its tribute to 100years of Indian cinema by celebrating in Chennai for four days in a grand manner. Film personalities from all south Indian languages, Telugu,Tamil,Malayalam and Kannada will take part in the celebrations.

TN Governor Rosaiah and Chief Minister Jayalalitha kick start the celebrations on 21st, today evening at 4 PM at Nehru Indore stadium, Chennai, TN. Today 50 stalwarts from Tamil cinema will be felicitated.Sandalwood will celebrate the event Tomorrow 22nd morning while evening will see Tollywood taking stage to pay its tributes to Indian cinema. 23rd Oct will be taken over by Mollywood film fraternity.

On 24th during the closing ceremony Pranab Mukherjee will felicitate 28 legends 7 each from Telugu,Tamil,Kannada and Malayalam. AP CM Kiran Kumar Reddy and PCC Chief Botsa will also grace the occasion.

‘Flop’ comedian wants to test his luck as Director

Nowadays, some of the actors feel that direction is easy and earning job rather than acting in the films. In the same line, Tollywood comedian has planned to step into the shoes of director. Avasarala Srinivas, who acted a handful of Telugu films like Asta Chamma, Orange, Pilla Jamindaar, Mugguru, Sukumarudu and Adda, is going to wield a megaphone for the film.

A mechanical Engineer by qualification, Avasarala Srinivas has returned from USA to fulfill his ambition of being a director. He also penned dialogues for hit film of Sumanth starrer ‘Golkonda High School’. Though no film has brought the fame to the comedian Avasarala Srinivas, he is making debut in Tollywood as a director.

Now, the actor is all set to direct a film under the banner of ‘Vaarahi Chalana Chitram’ which is produced by Sai Korrapati along with Sanjay Reddy of Silly Monks. The super hit film ‘Eega’ was produced under the same banner. Naga Shourya will be the introduced as hero to Tollywood under the direction of actor-turned- director Avasarala Srinivas.

Mahesh's maths secret revealed

Is Prince Mahesh Babu who is shaking Tollywood box office with his blockbusters a good mathematics man? His maths secret was revealed by his Kollywood friend and Surya's brother Karthi. While Karthi is currently offering Biryani, Mahesh is coming as Nenokkadine and Aagadu.

Karthi says Mahesh is his good friend. He reccollected how he and Mahesh studied in the same class and in same school in T.Nagar. He says he used to collect Mahesh Babu's maths note book as early as 4 AM.
