Mahesh Babu starrer Aagadu goes on floors

The principal shooting of Mahesh Babu, Tamannaah starrer Aagadu began today. Directed by Sreenu Vaitla, the film is being produced by Anil Sunkara, Gopichand and Ram Achanta under 14 Reels Entertainment banner. Sreenu Vaitla and Mahesh Babu had earlier teamed up for Dookudu which went on to become a smash hit back in 2011.

Mahesh Babu will once again be seen in a police officer’s role in this film and it’s said to be an out-and-out mass character. Similarly, Tamannaah, who has so far been playing uber glamorous or girl-next-door roles, will be seen in a mass character. Few months ago, Sreenu Vaitla had revealed that he has not followed the pattern which was blatant in his recent films like Dookudu and Baadshah. Although he hasn’t disclosed too many details about what he meant by that, sources close to the film unit suggest that Sreenu Vaitla is moving away from confusion themed action comedy, which he started with Dhee and took it to a whole new level with Ready and Dookudu.

Thaman is scoring the music for this film and KV Guhan is the cinematographer. The film is expected to hit the screens in summer 2014.

Masala awarded with clean ‘U’

Victory Venkatesh and Chocolate Boy Ram’s multi starrer flick “Masala”, is gearing up to release on the 14th of November. Today this movie’s censor formalities has been completed and certified with a clean ‘U’.

This movie is a remake of Bollywood’s super hit movie “Bol Bachan” starring Abhishek Bachan and Ajay Devgan. Vijay Bhaskar directed this complete family comedy entertainer and Thaman scored the audio for this flick. Ram has played two different roles in this movie one without a mustache.

Anajali and Shazan Padamasee are pairing besides Venkatesh and Ram. Sravanthi Ravi Kishore is producing this movie and D Suresh Babu is presenting this comedy family entertainer.

‘Aagadu’ starts at right muhurtham

Mahesh Babu is busy with the shooting of his film ‘1-Nenokkadine’ but it has not stopped him from starting his new film. This is ‘Aagadu’ and according to latest news, the Muhurtham for the film yesterday completed at 8.09 am at the Ramanaidu Studios. Some of the noted celebrities of Tollywood were present during the event. ‘Aagadu’ is directed by Sreenu Vaitla and it is heard that Tamannah has been taken as the first heroine. The search is on for a second heroine. The film is expected to be an action entertainer but with good dose of comedy and commercial masala. Mahesh is likely to be seen as a police officer in the film. The music for the film is by Thaman and it would be made under the banner of 14 Reels Entertainment, the same team which made Mahesh-Vaitla’s blockbuster hit ‘Dookudu’. Venky – Ram’s Masala audio date confirmed

The audio release date of Victory Venkatesh and energetic hero Ram’s ‘Masala’ has been confirmed. The album will be released on October 13th in Hyderabad. The news was confirmed by sources close to the production team.

Thaman is the music director of this film. Venkatesh and Ram will be seen as the lead actors in this official remake of ‘Bol Bachchan’. The film has been directed by Vijaya Bhaskar. Sravanthi Ravi Kishore and Suresh Babu have jointly produced this movie.
