Mahesh Babu to attend Power audio launch

Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu will be attending the audio launch ceremony of ‘Power’, the Kannada remake of his blockbuster film ‘Dookudu’. The event will take place in Bellary on the 28th of this month and Mahesh Babu will be the special attraction at the event.

The movie is being produced by 14 Reels Entertainment, the same production house that produced ‘Dookudu’. Mahesh Babu is currently working for the same production house for the film ‘Aagadu’, which has Tamanna as the heroine.

The Kannada film ‘Power’ has Puneet Rajkumar as the hero and Trisha will be seen as the heroine.

Mahesh Babu’s 1 – VFX work underway

Superstar Mahesh Babu’s ’1 – Nenokkadine’ is currently in post-production mode. The movie is gearing up for a Sankranthi release. The film has a number of high voltage action sequences and international technicians have worked on the VFX scenes. Some minor VFX post production is happening in Hyderabad and this work is also progressing at a fast pace.

Production sources say that the team is working round the clock to meet the release date. Mahesh Babu and Kriti Sanon will be seen as the lead actors and Sukumar has directed this action thriller.

Devi Sri Prasad has composed the music for this movie and the audio album will be out on the 19th of this month. 14 Reels Entertainment has produced this big budget film and Eros International has acquired the film’s rights.

Mahesh Babu starrer Aagadu goes on floors

The principal shooting of Mahesh Babu, Tamannaah starrer Aagadu began today. Directed by Sreenu Vaitla, the film is being produced by Anil Sunkara, Gopichand and Ram Achanta under 14 Reels Entertainment banner. Sreenu Vaitla and Mahesh Babu had earlier teamed up for Dookudu which went on to become a smash hit back in 2011.

Mahesh Babu will once again be seen in a police officer’s role in this film and it’s said to be an out-and-out mass character. Similarly, Tamannaah, who has so far been playing uber glamorous or girl-next-door roles, will be seen in a mass character. Few months ago, Sreenu Vaitla had revealed that he has not followed the pattern which was blatant in his recent films like Dookudu and Baadshah. Although he hasn’t disclosed too many details about what he meant by that, sources close to the film unit suggest that Sreenu Vaitla is moving away from confusion themed action comedy, which he started with Dhee and took it to a whole new level with Ready and Dookudu.

Thaman is scoring the music for this film and KV Guhan is the cinematographer. The film is expected to hit the screens in summer 2014.

The shoot of Mahesh Babu’s upcoming Sankranthi release 1 Nenokkadine is complete except for the filming of a song which is expected to happen from second week of December. Meanwhile the post production of the film is going on full swing and it’s from these post production activities a new scoop on the film has emerged.

Apparently 1 Nenokkadine is a going to be a short film with approximately 2 hours or 2 hours 10 minutes length.
